Its beaches are important nesting sites for turtles. 383 species of plants, including six endemics and 7 endangered species. It is also home to 32 different species of mammals, five of which are classified as endangered. Bundala is also the only national park where you can see both marsh and estuarine crocodiles on the same safari drive.
